The windmill at Chishill is one of only seven open trestle postmills in the UK. In 2011 it was in urgent need of restoration to save it from collapse and preserve it for future generations. Great Chishill Windmill Trust now has this in hand. Windmill Open Days We've now finished these for the year.

'Great and Little Chishill' - a Tale of Two Villages Windmill [1] First officially mentioned in 1592, but it is believed that a windmill has been here for much longer.
